Plastic Techniques Inc. was incorporated in New Hampshire in 1968. The original office and plant were located in the small town of New Boston, population 922. Actually things got off to an inauspicious start that first cold winter when a major snow storm, often referred to as a Nor'easter, stranded the tractor trailer rigs that were hauling our new molding equipment to New Boston.

We sat in our 3000 square foot building that once housed a buggy repair business, waiting for the storm to abate, the roads to be cleared, the trucks to be pulled out of drifts, and for our new venture to begin!

Of course, things did eventually get started. We have grown slowly and steadily during the past quarter plus century. Always remembering the customers, past, present and future, who give us our jobs and keep our company going and growing. We always remember that commitment: our products are safety related and nothing must compromise the quality that the utilities have come to know and expect.

During the mid 1980-s, PTI moved to a new 50,000 square foot facility, designed and built specifically for our type of operation.

This new facility has provided us with room to grow. Our fire resistive construction and fire suppression systems, along with our heat and water recycling systems and air quality management system will allow us to continue to provide an uninterrupted supply of products to our customers for many years.

PTI currently offers products in eight different categories all designed to augment the task of the lineman. We hope that as you browse our website and look through our product offerings you will find several products that are helpful to you. We are always working on new items so if you don't see what you need, call and ask; we may have it or perhaps we can custom manufacture it for you.

If you are planning to visit Northern New England, please give us a call. We'll send you a map and some tourist information listing the attractions in New Hampshire. When you get here, we would enjoy showing you our production facility and sharing a cup of coffee, apple cider or whatever is in season.
